American Auto Transport allows you to track your vehicle as it’s in transit. That way, you’ll be able to know where your vehicle is through every step of the shipping process.
How It Works
It’s important to understand that our vehicle are not tracking in the same sense that parcels are tracked: there is no real-time tracking sensors attached to your vehicle (unless you have your own!) Rather, what we have a more manual, reliable approach to tracking.
All of our vehicles are tracked through our Dispatch office. Once we receive your tracking request, it is passed to the Customer Service department. The Customer Service department processes the request, and that processed request is sent to the Dispatch office. The Dispatch office makes a location request to the Hauler upon receiving the request from Customer Service, and once the location response is received by the Dispatch office, it is then forwarded to Customer Service, which in turn forwards it to you.
How do I make a tracking request?
The Easiest way to make a tracking request is to fill out our Vehicle Tracking Form. Bear in mind that it may take up to 24 hours to process your request.
